If you enjoy playing computer games where you have to place a certain number of coloured pieces together to make them disappear, then you will really enjoy this program, called LineIt. As you might be able to guess just from its name, LineIt is an entertaining game of skill in which you must stop the pieces covering the whole board.

According to the authors, to do this, in LineIt you have to try and join 4 pieces of the same colour to make them disappear. You will also earn points (4 points for 4 gems, 8 points for 5 gems, 16 points for 6 gems). New 3 gems appear every time you move any gem. But it isn't easy. Against you, the computer places three new pieces, and you can't access those parts of the board that have been closed by pieces. The game ends when there are no place for new 3 gems.

LineIt isn't a new idea but it is well done and as addictive as the first day. This gaming program is very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it.
